Favorite Bible Verses

John 3:16 is one of my favorite bible verses, because it was the first bible verse that I memorized after becoming a Christian. It is a powerful verse.

John 3:16 tells of the love of God for sinful man.

It states,"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

My second favorite is Romans 6:23. It is another great bible verse about the love of God. We receive the gift of God because Jesus paid the penalty for our sins on Calvary's cross.

It reads, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Another of my favorite bible verses is Ephesians 4:20, it states, "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us."

God is all powerful, and if we are tuned in to God, by spending time reading and meditating on His word, we can expect Him to do great things for us.
