Bible Vegetarians

Bible vegetarians ate the animal free food diet that God first provided in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve and their descendants that lived before the flood were vegetarians.

Before the flood mankind lived to over nine hundred years.

ADAM TO LAMECH

Methuselah’s son Lamech lived for 777 years (God's perfect number before the flood came) -

NOAH

Noah, Lamech's son, lived for 950 years -

Genesis 9:28-29 (KJV)

28. And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.

29. And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died.

All these were Bible Vegetarians.

So what happened to the Bible vegetarians that changed their life span?

Bible vegetarians lived before the flood. After the flood God instructed mankind to add flesh to their diet

After that mankind’s life span decreased.

Genesis chapter 11 states -

Shem lived for 600 years -

V10. These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood:

V11. And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years...

Shem’s son Arphaxad lived for 438 years -

V12. And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah:

V13. And Arphaxad lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years...

Arphaxad’s son Salah lived for 433 years -

V14. And Salah lived thirty years, and begat Eber:

V15. And Salah lived after he begat Eber four hundred and three years...

Salah’s son Eber lived for 464 years -

V16. And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg:

V17. And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years...

Eber’s son Peleg lived for 239 years -

V18. And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu:

V19. And Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years...

Peleg’s son Reu lived for 239 years -

V20. And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begat Serug:

V21. And Reu lived after he begat Serug two hundred and seven years...

Reu’s son Serug lived for 232 years -

V22. And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Nahor:

V23. And Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years...

Serug’s son Nahor lived for 148 years -

V24. And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah:

V25. And Nahor lived after he begat Terah an hundred and nineteen years...

Nahor’s son Terah lived for 205 years -

V26. And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.

V32. And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years...

The ages of Terah's son and descendants are found in other chapters in Genesis.

Terah’s son Abram (Abraham) lived for 175 years -

Genesis 25:7 (KJV)

And these are the days of the years of Abraham's life which he lived, an hundred threescore and fifteen years.

Abraham’s son Isaac lived for 180 years -

Genesis 35:28 (KJV)

And the days of Isaac were an hundred and fourscore years.

Isaac’s son Jacob (Israel) lived for 147 years -

Genesis 47:28 (KJV)

And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years: so the whole age of Jacob was an hundred forty and seven years.

Jacob’s son Joseph lived for 110 years - Gen. 50:26

Genesis 50:26 (KJV)

So Joseph died, being an hundred and ten years old

So as you can see the life span of man declined once meat was added to their diet.  Also the food (fruits, grains and nuts) available to the Bible vegetarians was better before than after the flood.
