The Eye Of The Lord
God Is Our Help

Daily Bible Verses 360

The eye of the Lord is on us, He is our help

Psalm 33:18-20 King James Version (KJV)

18. Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;

19. To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

20. Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.

My comments on Daily Bible Verses 360

Our God is our help, do you believe that? In hard times it may be hard to believe, when it seems God is not listening, or He is not responding. The eye of the Lord is on us. He is watching over us.

We must persist in asking, and not let go of his hand. We must hold on until our change comes. The devil wants to sift us, and get us to doubt God’s word.

We must hold on through the trials like the 3 Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace. We must hold on through the pain like Job though he lost everything he had, including his children.

Though God may not answer how we think, or when we think, he will answer the best way He sees fit, and when He see fit. Job had his riches and family restored, Daniel was saved after he was thrown into the lion’s den, and Lazarus was saved (resurrected) after he died.

Keep your faith in God, in His word, and His many promises. Hold on and don’t let go, for the darkest hour is just before the dawn.

Revelation 1:13, 17-18 (KJV)

13. And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

17. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

18. I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
